Description

Pine Tree Cottage is a house dating from the mid-17th century, with later 20th-century additions and alterations. It is timber-framed with rendered brick infill, and has a thatched and slate roof. The original house comprised two cells. It is two storeys high, with further additions. The front of the house has eight cells to the left, displaying small timber framing with angled bracing to the sides and centre. It features a two-light casement window on the ground floor to the left, a 20th-century gabled porch to the right, and a two-light casement to the right of the porch. A 20th-century dormer window is located on the first floor to the right, featuring 17th-century diamond-leaded casements. A gabled addition from the 20th century extends to the right. The left-hand gable end has a 19th-century three-light casement window on the ground floor and a three-light casement on the first floor.
