Sundial: c.1850 by James Mellor jnr. Raking, hexagonal, hammer-dressed buff sandstone pillar has projecting capstone with inscription "JEMMY, JEMMY MIND YOUR OWN PEACE" beneath. On top is circular setting for brass sundial plate and gnomen, now stored in the house and awaiting replacement.
Jemmy appears to be James Mellor's nickname.
