Bank, possibly always in commercial as well as domestic use. c1800. Brick with slate roof. 3 storeys, 3-window range. Central entrance, with open pediment to doorcase and fanlight over door. Stone pedimented tripartite window to banking room to right of entrance, 16-pane sash to left, and additional doorway beyond, a 4-panelled door with overlight. Upper windows all 16-pane sashes with flat-arched stuccoed heads. Moulded cornice to parapet. End wall stack. Original or near-contemporary single-bay extension to ground floor right later extended at upper level. INTERIOR: not inspected.
