Description
Nos. 68, 70, and 70A on King Street in Knutsford is a terrace of two or three houses that have been converted into a pair of shops. The building is dated 1701 and has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. The structure has three storeys and a six-window range. The ground floor has inserted shop fronts, while the upper windows are adorned with wood mullions and transoms, topped with flat-arched brick heads. There is a string course below the first floor and an eaves cornice with a fluted frieze. Additionally, there are three axial stacks located at the rear of the ridge. The interior has not been inspected.
