Description
No. 50 King Street is a house that is now used for commercial purposes. It is dated 1721 on an armorial stone shield. The building is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. It is two-and-a-half storeys high and features a two-window range. There is a doorway on the left side, with two shop windows inserted to the right. An original brick string course is visible above the windows. The upper windows are casements with transoms and leaded lights, topped with flat-arched brick heads. There are two half-dormers with cat-slide roofs and 2-light casements above. The building has a massive curved chimney stack on the left gable and another on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
