Description
95 King Street is a house that is now used for commercial purposes. It likely dates from the late 17th century but has been significantly altered. The building is made of painted brick and has a slate roof. It stands three storeys high and features a three-window range, with the gable facing the street. The ground floor has an inserted shop front, and there are inserted windows above, although the segmentally-arched heads of earlier window openings are still visible. The attic storey also has three windows. On the side elevation, there is a heavy brick dentilled cornice. Inside, the building retains a late 18th-century staircase with turned spindles and a heavily moulded rail.
