Description

This sundial, located approximately 10 metres west of St. Stephen's Old School in St. Stephen's churchyard, is likely from the 19th century. It is made of sandstone and features an octagonal base surrounded by short spear-headed railings. The pedestal is supported by four clustered colonnettes that hold a circular table, although the plate and gnomon are missing. The base is inscribed with the name "G. Thornber sculpt."
