Description
No. 1 and Nos. 5 to 29 on West View Place is a terrace of stone cottages built in the 19th century. These two-storey buildings feature stone roofs and stone chimneys. Each cottage has a round-arched doorway with decorative imposts and a keystone, with some doorways raised up three steps, indicating a cellar below. There is one window on each floor, each with stone sills. This group of cottages is similar in style to the row of cottages at Nos. 2 to 28 and forms a cohesive architectural group with Nos. 1 to 12 on Mile End Road.
