Description

Turner's Almshouses, built in 1833, are a row of single-storey stone cottages located at Bank Top, numbered 58 to 64. These cottages are designed in a terrace style and feature quoins, a hipped slate roof, a cornice, and a central pediment that contains an inscribed stone with the date 1833. Each of the six doors and six windows has pointed arches and labels, reflecting a Gothic style. In front of the cottages, there is a stone wall that borders small gardens. The buildings at 58 to 64 form a cohesive group.
