Description

Nos 2 and 4 France Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is built of brick, rendered with painted stone dressings, and has three storeys with a five-window range. The building features an eaves cornice and a central entrance that has been altered. The windows have painted stone wedge lintels and cills, with original 6/6 pane sashes still present on the first floor and in the right-hand two second-floor windows. The central second-floor window is blind. The house has ridge and end chimney stacks, which have been truncated.
