Description
Number 2 King Street is a Grade II listed building dating from 1745. It is constructed of painted red brick and stands three storeys high. The entrance features a panelled centre door topped by a traceried round-arched fanlight, flanked by Tuscan half-columns and a raked broken pediment. The first floor includes five 12-pane sash windows, each with painted flat brick arched lintels and stone sills. The building also has two early 20th-century shop fronts. Number 2, along with Number 4, forms a group of buildings of architectural significance.
