Description

The Cathedral Gateway, located at the north-west corner of the churchyard, dates from around 1825. It features two stone octagonal piers that are panelled and cusped, topped with spirelets. The gateway is adorned with three cast iron gates that showcase elaborate Flamboyant tracery, complete with cusps and foliations. This gateway, along with Nos 20, 28, 30, and 36, the railings, piers, lampholders, and statue, as well as the Boulevard and the Cathedral Church of St Mary, form a significant group.
