Description
This is a terrace of stone cottages, numbered 2 to 28, West View Place. They were built as part of a parallel development to numbers 1 to 12 Mile End Row, and share a similar architectural style. The cottages date to the 18th or 19th century and have stone roofs and stone chimneys. They are two storeys high. Each cottage has a round-arched doorway, featuring imposts and keystones, and a single window on each floor, set within stone sills. Some cottages have cellars, accessed by a raised doorway with three steps. Numbers 2 to 28 (even) and numbers 1 to 29 (odd) of West View Place form a group with numbers 1 to 12 Mile End Road.
