Description
This is a row of cottages dated circa 1830, situated on Club Street, comprised of numbers 2 to 24 (even) and numbers 3 to 13 (odd). The cottages are constructed of sandstone that appears like brick, with stone slate roofs and corniced chimneys. They are built on a slight slope. Each cottage has two squared surrounds around the first-floor windows and a two-light, square-mullioned window on the ground floor. They feature squared jamb doorways. Number 2 has a small, projecting shop window from the mid-19th century with a moulded cornice. The cottages are listed for their group value as a significant example of a cottage row, particularly considered alongside Cemetery Road.
