Description
A row of stone cottages, likely dating from the 18th century, situated on the east side of Parsons Pool. The cottages are constructed of squared rubble stone and extend to two storeys with an attic. The roofs are covered in new slates, punctuated by gabled dormers – one to numbers 9 and 15, and two to number 11. Numbers 9, 11 and 13 have one, two and two window bays respectively, with a front door to numbers 9 and 11, and a doorway removed from the front of number 13. Windows are generally wood casements, although number 13 features sash windows with glazing bars. Number 9 has a modern glazed door, number 11 a plain wooden door. Numbers 1 to 13 (odd) and the garden wall to number 13 form a group with numbers 14 and 16 on Bell Street.
