Description
Prospect House is a house dating from around 1840, which is now used as a surgery. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features five bays. At the corners and flanking the recessed central bay are giant pilasters. The central entrance consists of double doors with eight panels on each side, set within an Ionic case, and there is a sash window above. The prominent cornices are located above the door and the flanking paired sash windows, which are framed by architraves. The windows have moulded sills, and the outer bays contain paired sashes on the first floor. There is a gutter cornice, and the hipped roof includes a low, segmental-headed dormer with two panes. A wide central chimney, which is panelled and corniced, features nine square yellow pots arranged in a row.
