Description

This is a terrace of houses located on Leazes Park Road in Newcastle upon Tyne, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of brick, with Nos. 20-26 having a pebbledashed finish. They have Welsh slate roofs and brick chimneys. Each house is two storeys high and has two bays. The front doors have been altered; Nos. 22 and 24 have a paired door, and No. 26 has a plain doorcase with a pilaster and entablature. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within wedge stone lintels and stone sills. Some of the windows, particularly those at No. 20 and on the second floor of No. 26, have been replaced with 20th-century glazing, and some original glazing bars have been removed.
