Description

This is a late 18th-century house on Front Street in Whickham. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with quoins, and has a pantiled roof topped by a chimney built of banded end brick. The house is two storeys high and has two bays. A partly-glazed door is located under a blocked fanlight, all set within a flat stone lintel on the right bay. An altered window with projecting stone sills sits at the first floor level of the door bay. Above the door, a small square window is located on the left side of the right bay.
