Description
No. 41 Garbutt Street is a building dating from around 1837 to 1850. It is two storeys high and has three windows. The structure is made of brick, featuring a rounded corner with header courses that are partly patched with render facing Hatton Avenue. The building has modern casement windows. On the ground floor to the left, there is a late 19th-century shop front, which includes a central pilaster doorpiece and glazing bars, with a rectangular light above it. The ground floor also houses a dairy shop on the left side. The building has two ridge chimneys and a slate roof that has been felted. Additionally, there is a plastic downcover on the front elevation.
