Description
Nos 74 and 76 on Church Road are mid to late 18th century brick buildings. They feature a later brick parapet with stone capping and a pantiled roof, which is topped with three brick chimneys. The buildings rise three storeys, although they are lower than the adjacent No 72. There are five windows, all with flush framed glazing bar sashes, flat brick arches, and stone keys. On the ground floor, there is a large modern low window, while the basement has a shallow bow with pilaster divisions. On either side of the entrance, there are simple pedimented doorcases with fluted pilasters and bracket capitals, leading to six-panel doors.
