Description

Columbia House is a mid to late 18th century building located on Church Road in Stockton on Tees. It stands three storeys tall with a blocked basement and features three windows. The side windows are set in full height brick bays. The building is constructed of brick and has a slate roof, with stone bands, cills, and keys above flat brick arches over flush framed sash windows, which have glazing bars on the upper floors. The central entrance is marked by a Doric doorcase with half columns and a triglyph frieze. Inside, the first-floor front room still retains part of its original panelling.
