Description

The barn adjoining the byre attached to Hagg Farmhouse dates from around 1800 and is constructed of dressed sandstone. It features a mid-20th century concrete tiled roof with stone gable coping on the left side. The barn is located on the north side of the byre that connects to Hagg Farmhouse. The west face of the barn has a blocked opening on the left and a mid-20th century cart opening to the right of an altered window. There are two openings on the granary floor. A timber and metal shelter is attached to the west face, and there are brick outbuildings to the north and east, which are not of interest. The barn is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
