Description
This building is a blacksmith's forge, located approximately 5 meters south-east of Number 37 on High Street in Moorsholm. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of dressed sandstone with a clay pantile roof featuring stone ridge and gable copings, along with an end stack on the left side. The forge is a single-storey structure. The west face includes, from left to right, a small square fixed-light window, a stable door, a partly boarded and partly glazed window, and boarded double doors leading to the shoeing shed. There is also a loft door in the gable of the left (north) return.
