Description

The Hay Barn, located 100 meters northeast of Woodhouse Farmhouse, is an early 19th-century structure. It features five bays and is supported by thirteen chevron dressed sandstone piers that decrease in size as they rise. The barn has a hipped roof with a trussed king-post design, covered with clay pantiles and finished with stone ridge copings. Other farm outbuildings to the south and west of the Hay Barn have been significantly altered and are not of interest.
