Description
Ivy Cottage, located in Wilton Village, is a cottage dating from the mid to late 18th century, with an extension added in the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed from chevron-tooled dressed sandstone and features a Welsh slate roof with a stone ridge, gable copings, and block kneelers. The cottage has two storeys and two windows. The entrance is an off-centre, partly-glazed door from the mid 20th century, and there are late 19th century sash windows, all set in their original openings. Inside, there are three iron "S" tie plates between the floors. The building also includes a two-storey, single-bay extension and a single-storey outhouse attached to the left end. Ivy Cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
