Description
16 and 17 Wilton Village are a pair of cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed from dressed sandstone and feature a Welsh slate roof, with a ridge stack that has been rebuilt in brick. The cottages are two storeys high and have two windows. There are boarded doors at each end, which are located under hoodmoulds. The ground floor and first floor on the left have mid-20th century casement windows, while the first floor on the right has a two-light timber-mullioned window set in chamfered openings, also under hoodmoulds. The sills are painted. The roof is shallow-pitched and hipped at the right end. The right return has a one-bay design with similar mullioned windows. There is a mid to late 20th century single-storey rear extension that is not of special interest.
