Description
Nunsbrough, located 0.5 kilometers north-east of Ordley, is a pair of houses that have been converted into one dwelling, dated 1828, featuring the initials L.W. on a panel above the door. The building is constructed of rubble with cut quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has four bays. The central entrance consists of a boarded door set within a 20th-century stone porch. The windows are 16-pane renewed sash windows, with the first-floor windows being shorter. The windows in bays one and four are located in former doorways and have alternating-block surrounds. Above the porch, there is a date panel framed in moulded stone. The roof is hipped with a central stack, and the returns display old 20-pane sashes, along with a later outshut added to the rear.
