Description
Nos 32 and 34 on Hall Lane in Werrington are a pair of Grade II listed buildings dating from 1765, as indicated by the datestone. They are two storeys high with attics and constructed from rubble, topped with a stone slate roof. The buildings feature a plinth and a five-panel door that is partly glazed, set within a stone rusticated arch that includes a keystone. There are two steps leading up to the door.
The front facade has three windows, likely featuring 19th-century wooden lintels, with six-light wooden transoms and mullions. The windows also have Gothic-style glazed top lights that resemble those found at Werrington Hall. The windows are fitted with leaded lights, and the buildings are accented with stone quoins and stone dressings around the windows and door.
There are three gabled dormers on the roof, two of which have 19th-century glazing, while one dormer features a casement window with glazing bars. Additionally, there are three brick chimney stacks.
