Description
Manor Farmhouse is a Grade II listed building located on the north side of The Green in Werrington. It consists of three sections, with parts dating back to the medieval period. The northern part of the main structure was remodeled and extended in the 17th century. The northwest wing, built in the mid-19th century, incorporates some earlier walling, while the southwest wing is modern. The farmhouse features a steeply pitched modern roof covered with asbestos tiles and has two brick chimneys, along with one made of rubble and brick. The building is mainly constructed of coursed rubble and stands two storeys high. The main elevation forms three sides of a courtyard. The northernmost section is a single storey with attics and has one window with a flat stone lintel and keystone. The central section is two storeys tall and has a modern door, while the southern section is gabled facing the road. At the rear, there are four windows with irregular modern fenestration.
