Description

WERRINGTON 1. 1500 THE GREEN (North Side) Manor Farmhouse TF 1703 20/321 II 2. 3 builds, partly mediaeval. North part of main rate remodelled and extended in Cl7. North west wing mid Cl9 incorporates some earlier walling. South west wing modern. Steep pitched modern asbestos tile roof. 2 chimneys in brick, one in rubble and brick. Mainly coursed rubble of 2 storeys. Main elevation forms 3 sides of a courtyard. Northenmost section is of 1 storey and attics with 1 window, flat stone lintel with keystone. Centre section is of 2 storeys with modern door. Southern section is gabled to road. To rear, 4 windows, irregular, modern fenestration.
