Description

This headstone, dated 1743, is located 5 metres south of the porch of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels. It is made of cut sandstone and features a small stone with a shaped top. On either side of the central cherub are pilasters with scrolls, and there is an inscription dedicated to Thomas Day. The reverse side displays a death's head above crossed bones.
