Description

This headstone, dated 1761, is located 6 metres south of the nave of the Church of St. Michael. It is made of sandstone and features a shaped top that encloses a relief-carved panel depicting a cherub flanked by trumpeting angels in a rustic style. The inscription on the headstone is dedicated to Margaret Embleton.
