Description
This headstone, located about 1.5 metres south of the tower stair turret of the Church of St Michael and All Angels, dates from the late 18th century. It is made of freestone and features a square head with a moulded flame and a winged cherub carved in relief at the top. The inscription, which is difficult to read, commemorates Elizabeth Sendle, who died in 1776.
