Description

The middle terrace wall to the south of Howick Hall was built in 1809 by architect John Wyatt. It is constructed from squared tooled stone and stands between 1 and 1.5 metres high, featuring gabled coping. The wall includes a central flight of seven moulded steps, with smaller sets of steps located midway along each side. Near the left end of the wall, there is a re-set moulded stone, likely a doorhead, which is dated 'August 16 1714'.
