Description

This headstone, dated 1755, is made of cut sandstone and is located 17 metres south of the porch of the Church of All Saints. It features a pedimented top with a death's head and hourglass carved in relief on the upper edges, enclosing a panel that displays three cherubs. The nowy-headed panel includes an inscription dedicated to Eleanor, the wife of William, and is flanked by vertical panels, each adorned with a bone above a dart.
