Description

No. 6 St Mary's Chare is a building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It has three storeys and features two windows. The exterior is made of painted brick with stone quoins on the right side, as well as plinth, lintel, and cill bands. The windows are glazing bar sash types, with a tripartite arrangement on the right side of the first and second floors, while the second floor on the right has modern glazing. The ground floor has a large central opening that includes a common fascia with a shop window, topped by a moulded cornice.

This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 19A (odd), Nos 2 to 8 (even), and Nos 16 to 20 (even), along with No. 4 Meal Market, with No. 1 being of local interest.
