The exterior is made of painted brick, with a brick stringcourse below the second floor and below the eaves. The windows are glazing bar sash windows with cambered heads on the first floor. To the left, there is a late 19th-century shop front, which is interrupted by a modern shop front to the right. The rear of the building is stone built. The former Blue Bell Inn is located at the rear, and a through passage has been converted into stairs leading to upper offices. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 14 to 30 (even).
