Description

Nos 22 and 24 on Fore Street are late 18th century to early 19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall and feature three windows. They are constructed of painted brick with stone quoins, cill bands, and lintels. The windows are glazing bar sash types. The buildings have two late 19th century shop fronts with recessed doorways; the shop on the left includes fluted bases to Corinthian colonettes. The rear of the buildings is stone built. Nos 14 to 30 (even) form a group with these properties.
