Description

FORD HETHERSLAW NT 93 NW 10/118 Former cart shed c.30 yards west of Hetherslaw Mill GV II

Cart shed, now used as storage. C18. Roughly-coursed stone with dressings, pantiled roof. 2 storeys. Ground floor open with C19 square piers and wood lintel. Steeply-pitched gabled roof with reverse-stepped gable on right. Coping on left gable renewed. Outside stone steps to boarded door on right return.

Interior has C18 collar-beam trusses with 2 rows of purlins.
