Description
The cart shed north of Willow Green Farmhouse is a late 18th-century structure. It is built from roughly coursed and squared sandstone with ashlar dressings, and includes some millstone grit. The roof is stone-flagged. The shed is one storey high, consisting of two bays with a single-storey pent extension that has one bay. The main section features boarded vehicle doors set within two elliptical arches. The pent extension has a thin wooden lintel above a boarded door, a small window with glazing bars, and an additional low door.
