Description
The Parish Hall of the Church of St. Michael is a chapel of ease that has been incorporated into the parish hall. It was built around 1830 at the expense of Reverend W.N. Darnell. The structure features thin courses of sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings, quoins, and plinth coping, topped with a stone-flagged roof. It is a single-storey building with three bays. On the south elevation, there are three lancet windows beneath prominent dripmoulds, and the roof has a chimney at the left end. The right return gable peak has a round window with a moulded surround. The entrance on the north elevation is obscured by later additions that are not of special interest.
