Description
1 and 1A Glover's Place is a building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It stands three storeys high and features two widely spaced windows. The structure is made of rubble with raised side pier strips and cill strings. It has glazing bar sash windows. The shop window consists of three lights that are connected by a simple hood to a half-glazed shop door and a house door with six panels. Both doors include rectangular lights above with marginal glazing. Nos 1 and 1A, along with Nos 8 to 10 (even) and Nos 12 to 14 (consecutive) on Holy Island, form a group.
