Description

Holy Island Cottage, dated 1737, is a two-storey building featuring one window on the ground floor and two on the upper floor. It is constructed of stone with a rendered front and has glazing bar sash windows. The door is positioned to the left of center and has chamfered reveals, with a lintel that is carved with "T.K.B." above "1737". Holy Island Cottage is part of a group that includes Holy Island House and Nos 45 to 49 (odd) Gilesgate, as well as Nos 1 to 5 Giles Place, which are of local interest.
