Description

Glover's Pant is a structure dated 1858 located on the north gable end of Holy Island Cottage. It features aedicule design with a low pitched pediment on each face. The central stone is topped with a cast iron finial. The building is constructed of ashlar stone with slightly raised corner piers that extend up to form pediment stops. It has a rusticated base. Originally, it had carved stones that read "Glovers' Pant" and "1858," but these have eroded and been replaced by a plain date panel above a now disused drinking fountain.
