Description

Nos. 1A and 3 on High Street is a single building dating from the early to mid-18th century. It stands three storeys tall and is rendered with a tiled roof that features two gabled dormers. The building has casement windows and a dentil eaves cornice. There are three windows on the upper floors, which have moulded wood flush frames and double hung sashes with glazing bars. The first floor windows are set beneath a frieze and cornice, also with glazing bars. The ground floor has modern shop fronts. Nos. 1 to 15 (odd) form a group.
