Description
Nos. 7 and 9 on High Street are late 18th century or early 19th century buildings. They are rendered with a steep pitched tile roof. The structure is timber-framed, with a 17th century rubble section at the rear, which also has a steep pitched roof.
No. 7 is two storeys high, featuring a parapet and two windows with moulded wood frames, a frieze, and cornices, along with double hung sashes that have glazing bars. No. 9 is three storeys tall, also with a parapet, and has a moulded projecting stucco cornice and a flipped slate roof. It has three similar windows, while the ground floor has been modernized with a tiled shop front.
