Description

No. 11 High Street is a late 18th century or early 19th century building with a stucco front, which is part of a timber-framed house dating back to the 17th or 18th century. The building features brick quoins and stands three storeys tall, topped with a parapet and cornice. There are three windows on the upper floors, each set in moulded flush frames with double-hung sashes and glazing bars. The centre window on the first floor has a wooden sediment, while the flanking windows are adorned with a frieze and cornice hood. The ground floor has been modernized for shops. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 1 to 15 (odd).
