Description

Haughton Strother Farmhouse and the attached outbuilding to the east are structures that date from several phases in the 18th century and were remodeled in the early 19th century. They are built of rubble with cut dressings, except for a brick garden wall that is part of the rear wing. The farmhouse is two stories high and has three bays. The central entrance features a half-glazed door set in a chamfered surround, flanked by sash windows with 12 and 16 panes. The gables are coped and have end stacks. To the left, there is a rear wing with a coped left gable and an end stack. The outbuilding on the right includes a 20th-century garage door with a pitching door above it.
