Farmhouse. c1820. Brick with pebbledash front with stucco dressings; tile roof with brick end stacks. L-plan. Georgian style. 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range; projecting ground floor. Cornice to ground floor and top cornice; stucco quoins. Entrance has doorcase with large antae supporting stop-chamfered lintel with weathering, half-glazed door. Windows have sills and stucco quoins and wedge lintels; those to ground floor have C20 glazing to tripartite frames; 1st floor has 16-pane sashes flanking 12-pane sash; 2nd floor has 6-pane sashes. Stacks have moulded brick cornices. Small single-storey addition to left has hipped roof, end stack and C20 casement. Right return has segmental-headed windows with 2-light casements. Rear has cornice over 2-storey wing with double gabled roof and modillioned brick cornice; plain entrance and segmental-headed windows with small-paned casements to inner return, with adjacent windows to front range, that to 1st floor with 12-pane sash; end has C20 garage. INTERIOR: stick-baluster dogleg staircase.
