Description

The ha-ha wall to the east and south of Nunwick Hall is a mid-18th century structure made of dressed sandstone. It stands between 1.5 to 2.0 metres tall and features a serpentine design with projecting coping stones. The wall curves southward from the rear of the service court of Nunwick Hall to a point near the Crook Burn, approximately 50 metres southeast of the southeast corner of the walled garden. This wall is included for its group value.
