Description

Nos 19 and 21 Battlehill are early 19th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall with three windows across their façade. The front is made of painted brick, featuring stone lintels and cills. The right side has tripartite glazing bar sash windows, while the other windows are late glazed two-light sash windows. Both buildings have brick chimneys and a slate roof with high verges and kneelers. Number 19 features a double plate glass shop front with fascia brackets that have tiers of guttae, while number 21 has a double shop front with fluted pilasters. There is a through passage door to the left, and the rear of the buildings is partly stone-built. At the back, there are two-storey gabled annexes with tumbled brick in the verges.
